Moratorium on New Targeted Case Management and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Providers

Effective Date: February 1, 2025, Sunshine Health is instituting a temporary moratorium on new applications for Targeted Case Management and Psychosocial Rehabilitation providers. This decision is part of our commitment to ensuring sustainable, high-quality care and the effective management of our provider network. Key Points of the Moratorium:

  • Scope: The moratorium applies to all new applications for Targeted Case Management and Psychosocial Rehabilitation providers.
  • Duration: The moratorium is effective as of February 1, 2025, and will remain in place until further notice. Sunshine Health will continuously assess the impact of this decision and provide updates as they become available.
  • Existing Providers: Providers who are currently credentialed and contracted in these service areas are not affected by this moratorium and may continue serving our members without interruption, however, current providers may not join or attach to any additional new or existing Tax Identification Numbers or provider groups under these service types.

Our goal is to ensure continued access to quality care for our members while responsibly managing network needs. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
