Application Period for Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Provider Funding Ends Today!

We want to remind eligible providers that the initial application period ends today, February 14, 2022, for these Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) programs:

  • One-time provider stipend payments to support Home Community Based Service (HCBS) providers
  • One-time provider retention payments to aid eligible HCBS providers to recruit and retain qualified staff
  • Funding to support the purchase of delayed egress systems for group homes and adult day training centers

Application deadline: February 14, 2022, is the deadline to apply for the federal Medicaid HCBS Enhanced Funding.

More information on the application process and a list of eligible provider types can be found on the AHCA website. The application process for eligible providers is to ensure appropriate measures are in place to prevent fraud, waste and abuse.

AHCA expects to announce additional application periods by April 2022 for remaining program components.
