Clarification on Sunshine Health Medicaid Member Eligibility

We’d like to provide clarification regarding member eligibility dates you may see in our system.

Some Medicaid members may display an eligibility end date of January 31, 2025, which is a result of system updates tied to our new Medicaid contract. This does not reflect a termination of benefits for these members.

Providers should continue confirming member eligibility and delivering services to Sunshine Health Medicaid members as usual.

Confirm member eligibility through one of the following:

• Access the Sunshine Health Secure Provider Portal for real-time eligibility verification
• You may also verify benefits through the Florida Medicaid Secure Web Portal (FLMMIS)
• Availity Essentials: Log into your account
