We understand often a mother may experience a pregnancy loss before or after birth. We are here for you and have the following bereavement resources available for you:
Counseling & Support
- Empty Arms Bereavement Support: In-person or virtual support groups that meet monthly.
- Hand to Hold: Support for Bereaved Families
- NICU Helping Hands: Provides comfort for bereaved families through the gift of a custom-made gown for final photos and for burial services.
- Postpartum Support International: Loss & Grief in Pregnancy Postpartum: Offers support groups for those who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss.
- The Tears Foundation: A foundation that will help ease the financial burden from families who have lost a child. They also offer grief support groups and peer companions.
Funeral/Burial Coverage Costs
- Guide to Getting Help with Funeral Costs: A guide to get help with funeral costs and burial expenses from charity organizations, non-profits, government benefits, military assistance programs and other sources.
- Little Love Foundation: Offers financial help for funeral, cremation, burial, headstone, counseling and more.
- Share: Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support: This group offers an online support group on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.
